so i have come with this so called "important points to remember series" where i will be posting the some quick and important points to remember at the time of performing or at the time of inspection of activity. in short this is a quick quid to all the people who don't want to go in to much detail and want to have self help to tackle the practical life problems.

so below are the points which are very important to remember before during and after completion of  masonry work at site.

1) The material brought at site to be checked whether meets required Specification.

2) Bricks are to be socked properly prior to use, blocks are to be slightly Moistened prior to use.

3) While using, care should be taken to identify the bricks / blocks whether it Is tested or none tested for proper trace ability.

4) The line out should be checked before starting of actual masonry work.

5) Line, level, right angle etc. Are to be maintain.

6) The proportion of mortar to be maintained properly as per specification.

7) The staging is to be carried out properly.

8) Opening for doors, windows, etc. Are to be maintain properly as per Drawing.

9) Racking of joints to be done properly.

10) Curing.

11) Handle material carefully to avoid wastage.
